Technology Transfer. Brighter Tomorrows.

Is your IP portfolio working as hard as your researchers?

T2I2 helps research organizations uncover commercialization opportunities they already own but aren't seeing — then build the relationships and systems to move them forward.

Three pathways. Greater impact.

From Ideas to Impact

Practical strategies. Proven experience. Real-world results.

01 — ASSETS

Activate Your IP Portfolio

Re-evaluate existing and older IP. Identify new applications and markets. Prioritize opportunities. Find prospective licensees and partners. Put renewed commercialization effort where it can make a difference. Have a portfolio that deserves a second look? innovate@t2i2.com

02 — RELATIONSHIPS

Turn Agreements Into Business Development

Licenses, options, MTAs, CDAs, CRADAs, and sponsored research agreements are more than records. Mine them for companies, researchers, markets, and follow-on opportunities. Ready to turn relationships into opportunities? engage@t2i2.com

03 — SYSTEMS

Build Repeatable Commercialization Systems

Build practical workflows and institutional knowledge that help teams find, manage and advance opportunities consistently — without turning technology transfer into a spreadsheet exercise.

Fractional & Project-Based Support

Focused projects, embedded capacity, portfolio support, and managed commercialization services. engage@t2i2.com

Speaking, Training & Education

Practical sessions for technology transfer teams, federal labs, universities, and ecosystems.

Senior Advisory & Leadership

Available for select senior advisory, interim, and leadership opportunities with research and innovation organizations.

Across disciplines. Across institutions.

Commercialization experience grounded in real research.

My work has spanned life sciences, diagnostics, vaccines, advanced materials, coatings, corrosion, energy, superconductors, measurement science, digital technologies and other research fields across federal laboratories, research hospitals, universities, startups and industry.

The job is rarely just “find a licensee.” It is understanding the asset, the researcher, the market, the relationship, and the path that can actually move the technology forward.

Speaking, Training & Education

Practical technology transfer, taught by a practitioner.

I speak and train on technology marketing, commercialization, partnerships, portfolio strategy, agreement intelligence, ecosystem building and practical uses of AI in technology transfer. AI is a force multiplier for experienced professionals — not a substitute for judgment or relationships.

Experience behind the insights.

T2I2 is led by Chad Riggs, a technology transfer and commercialization professional with more than 20 years of experience helping research organizations move ideas toward real-world use.

His career includes more than a decade at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital working across IP evaluation, technology marketing, licensing, agreements, commercialization strategy, and external relationships. Earlier, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, he evaluated, marketed, and licensed federally developed technologies across physical sciences, advanced materials, energy, and related fields.

Through Mill Creek Holdings, LLC, Chad has also supported universities, research organizations, commercialization groups, startups, and regional innovation ecosystems. The common thread is connecting good research with the markets, companies, people, and pathways that can put it to work.
